Food insecurity makes learning, healing, and working a challenge. Whether because of an illness, a job loss, a move, or another unforeseen circumstance, food insecurity can affect anyone—even members of our own UAB family.
To address food insecurity across campus, UAB created Blazer Kitchen, which serves students, employees, and families with infants at the NICU-CCN who do not have enough food to eat or not enough of the kinds of nutritious food they need to eat.
When you make a gift, you help keep the Blazer Kitchen shelves stocked and help our UAB family members receive fresh produce, non-perishable food items, and toiletries in their time of need.
Let’s bring everyone to the table.
