About this Event
Blazers Against Hunger is a month-long campaign that supports Blazer Kitchen, UAB’s on-campus food pantry. Blazer Kitchen is supported by the UAB Benevolent Fund with the purpose of increasing food security in the UAB community by providing healthy food, resources, and referrals to patients, employees, and students in need, all while making sure those who visit are treated with dignity, compassion, and respect.
Blazer Kitchen supports over 2,000 shoppers each year and continues to grow as an essential piece of the UAB community. Since its creation in 2017, Blazer Kitchen has provided over 800,000 meals to those in need.
Blazers Against Hunger runs now through November 21. For those wanting to get started now - give, share, and become an advocate at go.uab.edu/blazersagainsthunger
