Blazer Core Teaching: Trailhead Interdisciplinary Teaching Program Interest Session

This is a past event.

Presented by Chris Minnix. Our innovative Trailhead Interdisciplinary Teaching Program gives three faculty members from different disciplines the opportunity to link their three core courses together through a shared theme, topic, and project. We invite all faculty interested in participating in the Trailhead Interdisciplinary Teaching Program to join us for a practical workshop that leads faculty through the process of linking 3 stand-alone core courses from different disciplines together to create an interdisciplinary experience for core students. The workshop is open to all interested, and there will be opportunities to learn more about participating in our Fall 2023 pilot and to meet faculty who may be interested in future collaborations.

Registration is strongly encouraged for in-person attendance so that we can notify participants of any unexpected schedule changes and ensure that we have the correct amount of food if a meal is provided. UAB faculty are always welcome to show up to in-person CTL events without registering. However, if you do attend without registering, we ask that if food is being served, you wait until all pre-registered participants have gotten their food before serving yourself.
