Promoting STEM Education Through Robotics in Birmingham Area Schools

This is a past event.

The Birmingham Robotics Initiative (BRI) is a group of UAB students who have launched robotic programs at Ramsay High School, Carver High School, and the Alabama School of Fine Arts during the past year. They aim to ignite a passion for STEM in local high school students. In addition to mentoring students in an annual robotics competition, the members of BRI are developing and delivering STEM lessons in coordination with partners at the schools. At this School of Engineering Lunch & Learn session, they will talk about their experiences so far and their plans for the future.
