Craig Hultgren performs fresh repertoire for the cello, representing directions in contemporary music from traditional to experimental, acoustic to electronic, and structured to improvisational. This concert commemorates the 30th Anniversary of the Birmingham Art Music Alliance, in consideration of Hultgren's significant role as a founder of the organization, champion of Alabama composers, and persistent activist for new music.
