  joining UMMC in 2023\, she served as a tenure-track Assistant Professor o
 f Nursing at the University of Alabama (UA) in Tuscaloosa\, AL. Ezemenaka 
 holds a doctorate in Biostatistics\, as well as master’s and bachelor’
 s degrees in mathematics. Her interdisciplinary biostatistics research int
 erest areas broadly center around personal well-being\, including psycholo
 gical\, physical\, and clinical outcomes with emphasis on the influence of
  the social determinants of health (SDOH) and chronic diseases.
