K. Brandon Strickland is the Executive Director of Research Administration at the University of Miami, responsible for overseeing all aspects of the Office of Research Administration. He successfully led the implementation of a new electronic research administration software platform and also serves as the University of Miami's Authorized Organization Representative. Prior to joining the University of Miami, Strickland was the Assistant Director of Sponsored Projects and Contracting Officer at the University of South Alabama, where he managed a high volume of proposals and awards, drafted contracts, negotiated terms and conditions with government and industry representatives, and played a key role in developing the University's first clinical trial office and Controlled Unclassified Information (CUI) policies. Strickland's extensive experience in research administration, contracting, and grants management has made him an invaluable asset to the academic community.
