ArtPlay Summer Camps: Getting To Know Footloose The Musical

This is a past event.

ArtPlay musical theatre summer camps are perfect for anyone who loves singing, dancing and theatre. No experience required! ArtPlay instructors strive to bring out the creativity in all students participating in summer camps. Camps are designed for campers to learn something new, and culminate in a final showcase, creating a full production on stage at the Alys Stephens Center.

Getting To Know...Footloose is one of the most explosive movie musicals in recent memory based on the hit 1984 film starring Kevin Bacon, John Lithgow, and Dianne Wiest. Getting to Know...Footloose is the perfect opportunity to introduce young people (ages 12-18) to the magic of live musical theatre. With Getting To Know...Footloose there is a time to dance!

“We have many students who are first-time campers and others that have been in our programs for six or more years. We are one big creative family!” said Heath Mixon, Director of ArtPlay.
