As part of the National Science Foundation’s Antarctic Artists and Writers Program, Professor Allyson Comstock spent seven weeks working alongside research teams, with the goal of incorporating that research into a suite of drawings. These drawings visually convey the importance of perceptions relative to what one knows, understands and values in nature. UAB students will contribute works to this exhibition through Comstock’s ongoing Responding to Antarctica project.
