To kick off 2022 meetings, AMWA will be welcoming Scott Ballinger, Ph.D., Chair of the Faculty Council.

The Faculty Council reviews promotion and tenure packages and makes recommendations for promotion and tenure to the Dean of the UAB Heersink School of Medicine. During this session, Dr. Ballinger will outline some of the basic considerations about planning and preparing for promotion and/or tenure packages.
