Alabama Student Justice Conference (ASJC)
About this Event
1400 University Blvd, Birmingham, AL 35233
Our theme for this year’s conference is “Seeds of Change” – social justice can start with us as students making small changes and steps towards progress whether that be advocating for the voiceless or educating others on prominent issues. Join us to learn from service organizations at UAB and the Greater Birmingham, paint pots and learn about Sustainability, understand how the current political climate is affecting student organizations, and listen to social justice presentations. A few examples of this year's presentations include environmental justice, health disparities among LGBTQ+ populations, and the psychological toll of gender apartheid.
