Advising as Teaching: Navigating NACADA - Proposals, Presentations, and Beyond

This is a past event.

Presented for UAB faculty and advisors by Rachel Daniel and Kip Hubbard. The Advising as Teaching Series is designed to highlight the alignment between academic advising and the educational mission of UAB relative to student growth and development.

The topic for this month's presentation is: "Navigating NACADA - Proposals, Presentations, and Beyond "

Each session is designed in a workshop format such that they provide advisors opportunities to network with peers and practice skills associated with NACADA’s research-based best practices in academic advising.

Lunch will be provided to the first 30 people to RSVP.

UAB faculty/staff are always welcome to show up to in-person CTL events without registering, but we ask that if food is being served, you wait until all registered participants have gotten their food before serving yourself.
