Accessibility: Understanding Your Role

This is a past event.

Presented for UAB faculty by Samantha Wadsworth. An introduction to Disability Support Service's updated CTL Accessibility series that explores accessibility guidelines and rationales, UAB trends and retention, Universal Design for Learning principles, and the benefits to the university community when inclusion is prioritized.

Registration is strongly encouraged for in-person attendance so that we can notify participants of any unexpected schedule changes and ensure that we have the correct amount of food if a meal is provided. UAB faculty are always welcome to show up to in-person CTL events without registering. However, if you do attend without registering, we ask that if food is being served, you wait until all pre-registered participants have gotten their food before serving yourself
