Accessibility: Supporting Neurodiversity

This is a past event.

Presented by Sherri Moultrie and Allie Reeves. This workshop provides participants with a brief discussion of the college classroom experience from the perspective of some neuro-diverse students and provides classroom and course strategies to support more neurodiversity in the classroom.

These workshops are for UAB faculty (including adjuncts), pre-approved graduate students who are currently teaching at UAB, and teaching staff only. These workshops are not intended for graduate or undergraduate UAB students.

Registration is required for in-person CTL events. UAB faculty members are always welcome to show up to CTL events without registering, but we ask that if food is being served at an in-person event, you wait until all pre-registered attendees have been served before serving yourself.
