Presented by Michelle Allen, and Catherine Buttrey. This presentation is a part of Disability Support Service's recently-updated Accessibility workshop series, hosted by the CTL. This training is a DSS and Office of Diversity and Inclusion collaboration that focuses on reframing disability as a part of diversity, how intersecting identities play a role in the barriers students face, and tools and methods for promoting inclusivity.
These workshops are for UAB faculty (including adjuncts), approved graduate students who will soon be teaching, and teaching staff only. These workshops are not intended for UAB students.
Registration is required for in-person attendance only. Please do not register if you plan on attending via Zoom. UAB faculty are always welcome to show up to in-person CTL events without registering, but we ask that if food is being served, you wait until all registered participants have gotten their food before serving yourself.
