Presented in the UAB Center for Teaching and Learning for UAB faculty by Samantha Wadsworth
Description: Workshops in the CTL Accessibility series by Disability Support Services provide the fundamentals of promoting a learning environment that welcomes and anticipates the needs of students with disabilities. This workshop provides participants with a brief discussion of the college classroom experience from the perspective of some neuro-diverse students and provides classroom and course strategies to support more neurodiversity in the classroom.
Please Note: The UAB Center for Teaching and Learning (CTL) presents workshops on teaching practice for UAB faculty (including adjunct instructors), pre-approved graduate students who are currently under contract to teach academic courses at UAB, and teaching staff. Academic advisors and staff who work directly with students are also approved to come to non-teaching focused workshops. CTL workshops are not intended for UAB graduate or undergraduate students.
CTL Point Value: 10,000 pts.
You will need an active UAB ONE Card to access the fourth floor.
