 g your Accessibility Certification? Earn your Accessibility Certification 
 in just one day. Join us for our new comprehensive workshop that explores 
 the why\, who\, and how of disability services for students in higher educ
 ation. This training will provide faculty and staff with a more in-depth u
 nderstanding of the legal obligations associated with their role\, as well
  as tools and resources to create best practices to ensure equal access fo
 r students with disabilities. Lunch will be provided for all those who reg
 ister.\n\nPlease Note: The UAB Center for Teaching and Learning (CTL) pres
 ents workshops on teaching practice for UAB faculty (including adjunct ins
 tructors)\, pre-approved graduate students who are currently under contrac
 t to teach academic courses at UAB\, and teaching staff. Academic advisors
  and staff who work directly with students are also approved to come to no
 n-teaching focused workshops. CTL workshops are not intended for UAB gradu
 ate or undergraduate students.\n\nCTL Point Value: 100\,000pts. Must atten
 d entire day to receive the Accessibility certificate.
