In her talk titled A Movement of Grace: Changing the Minority Mental Health Narrative & Stigma, Ms. Valencia Pruitt, a clinical social worker at Willow Grace Wellness Center and alumni of the UAB Department of Social Work, will discuss the roots, impacts & stigma of the minority mental health narrative, and how social workers can help clients and communities of color with mental & emotional health restoration.

One social work CEU will be offered to licensed social workers.
