The Lister Hill Center for Health Policy will be hosting a screening of the documentary I’m Still Here: A Life on Dynamite Hill, which highlights the civil rights history and the ongoing struggles of residents in Smithfield. Produced by Leadership Birmingham, this powerful short film delves into the stories of a community fighting for justice and equity.
Following the screening, there will be a Q&A session with the filmmakers, researchers working in the area, and community stakeholders, offering an opportunity for deeper discussion on the issues raised in the film. Lunch will be provided.
