About this Event
Prepare to be captivated as UAB's Department of Biomedical Informatics and Data Science (DBIDS) and the Systems Pharmacology AI Research Center (SPARC) take center stage to host the 8th Annual Translational and Transformative Informatics Symposium (ATTIS).
Mark your calendars for this groundbreaking event, where the forefront of biomedical informatics and translational medicine converge, promising insights that will shape the future of healthcare.
This symposium is co-sponsored by the Center for Clinical and Translational Sciences (CCTS), the O’Neal Comprehensive Cancer Center, Southern Research, and the Department of Pharmacology and Toxicology. ATTIS 2024 will celebrate the inception of SPARC, and promises to be an exceptional gathering for professionals and trainees alike.
This year’s theme, 'When Drug Discovery Meets AI,' aims to highlight the symbiosis between cutting-edge drug discovery and the revolutionary advances in artificial intelligence. We invite trainees and researchers to contribute to this dynamic dialogue by submitting abstracts that reflect the innovative spirit of these fields. Overall, we aim to foster a collaborative environment where critical discussions and partnerships will shape the future of healthcare. Your participation is key to advancing these discussions.
Our symposium will feature a rich array of sessions, including a keynote presentation on the transformative impact of AI in drug discovery and focused discussions on therapeutics development and clinical trials. Flash talk sessions will deliver rapid, compelling insights into groundbreaking research, while our poster session will provide multiple visual narratives of current scientific investigations.
