As part of the Department of World Languages and Literatures' 50th anniversary, we are doing a social media contest with the following guidelines:

• Create an original video in any language cooking a recipe from our 50th Anniversary Cookbook. Email jreynol2@uab.edu to access the cookbook. To enter the contest, the video must use a recipe from this cookbook.
• Post on Instagram or TikTok and tag @uabdwll and #uabdwllcontest
• Must be a UAB student enrolled in a Department of World Languages and Literatures course.
• Must be following @uabdwll on Instagram or TikTok
• First place prize is $100, second place is $50
• Deadline for posts is September 19th.
