Dr. Rubin Pillay, MD, PhD, is an internationally recognized healthcare innovator, futurist, and professor. Currently serving as the Executive Director of the Heersink Institute for Biomedical innovation and the Chief Innovation Officer at the University of Alabama at Birmingham Health System, Dr. Pillay is a leading expert on the integration of technology and medicine. He has authored several books, including Now to Next: The Future of Healthcare and AI and the Quintuple Aim: Revolutionizing Healthcare for Better Outcomes. With over three decades of experience, he is a sought-after speaker and consultant, driving transformative change in health systems globally. Dr. Pillay’s work focuses on leveraging AI and emerging technologies to enhance care delivery, equity, and sustainability in healthcare.
