Join us for the 2026 Inter-professional Transplant Symposium. This full-day educational event brings together physicians, advanced practice providers, nurses, pharmacists, social workers, and transplant professionals for timely, evidence-based education focused on improving care for the solid organ transplant population.

Attendees will hear from expert speakers on key clinical, ethical, and operational topics, explore emerging research through poster presentations, and earn continuing education credits while networking with colleagues across disciplines.

Co-hosted by the UAB Comprehensive Transplant Institute, the UAB School of Nursing, and the Alabama Chapter of the International Transplant Institute, this symposium will provide education about transplant related topics that can be applied to the audience’s practice setting to help improve care within solid organ transplant population. Physicians, NPs, PAs, and Nurses (Coordinators and Staff RNs), Pharmacists, and Social Workers in solid organ transplant programs are encouraged to attend.
