This event brings together scientific leaders and innovators to explore cutting edge methods, highlight real-world challenges, and envision the future impact of AI across disciplines. Through compelling use case illustrations and real-time demonstrations, attendees will gain insight into how AI is actively reshaping scientific discovery and clinical practice.
Expert panels and moderated discussions will provide space for critical dialogue and practical guidance on responsible and effective AI integration. Most importantly, the Summit aims to foster new collaborative connections among UAB faculty who are advancing this transformative field and its application. Together, we will chart a path that strengthens our research community and accelerates innovation for the benefit of society.
This event is especially tailored to faculty investigators and early career scholars.

The AI Summit is complemented by the Annual Translational and Transformative Informatics Symposium (ATTIS), which will take place May 5, 2026 in ALGEN 102 (seperate registration is required to attend ATTIS).
