The Alabama Brain Bee is the AL regional chapter competition for the National and International Brain Bee, a neuroscience competition for high school students. Students compete in a written and oral exam and the 1st place winner moves on to Nationals. During competition day, students complete the competition portion, but they also get to participate in brain dissections and other neuroscience experiments, engage with their peers, and learn more about UAB's neuroscience program.
