2019 UABPD Pedestrian Safety Campaign

Pedestrian Safety Week will be in full swing!

UAB students and employees always play a vital role in helping the UABPD disseminate beneficial safety tips that could save lives. The UABPD is asking for volunteers to assist in distributing pedestrian safety brochures from 7:30 to 8:30 am and/or 11:30 am to 12:30 pm on September 16, 18, 24 or 26 at the specified locations listed below. Volunteers from across campus are welcomed.

  • 4th Avenue South & 18th Street South
  • University Blvd & 17th Street South
  • 6th Avenue South & 17th Street South

September 18

  • 9th Avenue South & 19th Street South
  • 9th Avenue South & 16th Street South
  • 10th Avenue South & 17th Street South
  • University Blvd & 14th Street South

September 24
