Lace up your shoes and join us for our 19th Annual UAB National Alumni Society Scholarship Run presented by Viva Health! Whether you're a seasoned running or just looking for a fun way to support scholarships, this event has something for everyone.

We're returning to Crestline Village again this year. The Scholarship Run will be hosted on a certified course, and will be chipped and timed. All participants will receive a t-shirt and finisher's medal.

Four Race Options

  • 5K
  • 10K
  • 1-Mile Fun Run (NEW - adult registration)
  • Virtual

Registration

  • $30 • through March 15th
  • $35 • March 16th - April 11th
  • $40 • April 12th (race day)
     
  • $20 • Kids' Fun Run (through race day)
  • $25 • Adult Fun Run (through race day)

Support Scholarships

All proceeds from the event will go towards scholarships for UAB students, helping them overcome financial barriers and achieve their educational dreams. Your participation and support are crucial in making this event a success.

Since our first Scholarship Run in 2007, this event has allowed us to raise more than $1 million to help support student scholarships.

We're looking for volunteers to fill the following roles:

  • Set Up (6:30-8:00 am)
  • Registration (7:00-8:15 am)
  • Water Stations (8:00-9:45 am)
  • Course Direction (8:00-9:45 am)
  • Food (8:00-10:30 am)
  • Break Down (9:30-11:00 am)
