The Alabama Regional Center for Infection Prevention & Control, Training and Technical Assistance (ARCIPC) were established to bring together subject matter experts from across the university and state to assist the Alabama Department of Public Health’s (ADPH) Infectious Disease and Outbreaks Division (ID&O) in addressing issues related to the management and response to emerging and reemerging infectious diseases.
